by Walter E. Williams President Barack Obama won an unprecedented 96 percent of the black vote. That’s not much of a news story since blacks typically give their votes to the Democratic candidate. Blacks are probably the most politically loyal people in the nation and it is almost taken as gospel, at least among civil rights organizations and black and white liberals, that the only way black people can make socioeconomic progress is through the politics of race and special government programs.

it’s not going away. first, sarah palin spoke out on obamacare calling the end-of-life counseling sessions ‘death panels.’ barack obama, at one of his ginned up town hall meetings (filled with ‘ plants ‘ i might add), responded to the ‘death panels’ suggestion by saying this : “Let’s disagree over things that are real, not these wild misrepresentations,” he said, laughing off rumors that the government would set up “death panels that will basically pull the plug on Grandma.” well, it’s on.

 The power crazed socialists of the Democrat Party have the reins of power and they’re bent on ending capitalism and inaugurate a new warm and fuzzy fascism that will cement the takeover of the United States by an elite financial oligarchy by ideological means. They’re going to turn us into a morose, weak, European state even if it kills us——– and it is killing us.

It’s Rasmussen Reports , so expect the left to dismiss the poll as some righty fabrication. But consider this: Gallup, which tends to be kind to lefties, only has Obama a few points higher. His approval has been falling, disapproval rising, over there for quite some time. Anyway, back to today’s poll: The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 29% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President.
