July20 Never mind that she provides medical care for poor people in rural Alabama. Or that she is so committed that she rebuilt her clinic twice. Or that that she won a MacArthur genius award. The real question is apparently this: Is President Obama’s nominee for surgeon general too fat for the job?I have to admit, this is not something I had followed. It seems very mean-spirited.Here’s the story from Salon.PHOTO: President Barack Obama, left, congratulates Dr.

Learn To Pick Your Battles – davidfarrow.wordpress.com 07/20/2009 One issue that has flooded my in-box for the last year is the question of Barack Obama’s birth certificate. I have regarded this much like I do the International Zionist conspiracy. Even if it’s true, what do you expect me to do about it? After pushing Congress to pass the $787 billion stimulus, Obama has seen the unemployment rate rise from the 8 percent limit he predicted if the bill passed to 9.5 percent. After apologizing to the world for Americas imagined failings, Obama has seen Iran and North Korea continue their nuclear programs and become more even belligerent than when George Bush was president.

July 20, 2009 – The Telegraph – London, UK As the shadow of the credit crunch continues to loom over the economy, it can be hard to maintain one’s equanimity. Fed a daily diet of doom and gloom from the media, stressed about job security and plunging house prices, more and more of us are feeling the strain. Last month, a report from Mind warned that almost 40 per cent of men are struggling to cope with the emotional and psychological impact of the recession.

The officials said that the US is pushing for a final status agreement with Israel that does not include the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes, and maintains so-called Israeli settlement blocs in the West Bank.
