You thought the Socialist health plan that President Obama was bad enough in its current state? Well get this. This past Friday, the Democrats defeated a GOP-backed amendment that would have prevented illegal aliens from receiving government-subsidized health care – a plan obviously endorsed by the Democraps and President Obama. What this plan does folks is give free health care to to more than 45 million uninsured people here in America – a good percentage of them whom are illegal aliens. Lots of negatives to this bill, for certain.

When Barack Obama took ownership of the ailing economy the other day by saying , “give it to me,” grabbing the attention of the political world, the President was following a well-thought-out plan. A plan thought out by House Republicans, that is. According to a senior House GOP aide, GOP Rep Eric Cantor has deliberately been using the phrase “Obama’s economy” again and again in recent weeks in hopes of realizing a specific political goal: Baiting Obama into to making the economy his own.

Ross Douthat seems concerned : But the senators are yesterday’s men. The America of Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III is swiftly giving way to the America of Sonia Maria Sotomayor and Barack Hussein Obama. The nation’s largest states, Texas and California, already have “minority” majorities. By 2023, if current demographic trends continue, nonwhites — black, Hispanic and Asian — will constitute a majority of Americans under 18. By 2042, they’ll constitute a national majority.

Pete, your cogent take is yet again corroborated, this time by the Washington Post-ABC News poll. What we see is an across-the-board erosion in not just the public’s overall approval of Obama’s performance, but in confidence in his ability to manage every significant domestic item on his agenda. The Post explains: Heading into a critical period in the debate over health-care reform, public approval of President Obama’s stewardship on the issue has dropped below the 50 percent threshold for the first time, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

In what can only be taken to be a reflection of his declining approval numbers, a new Rasmussen poll shows that President Obama would face quite a challenge in seeking re-election three years from now: If the 2012 presidential election were held today, President Obama and possible Republican nominee Mitt Romney would be all tied up at 45% each, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. The president, seeking a second four-year term, beats another potential GOP rival, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, by six points – 48% to 42%.

by William Norman Grigg As a left-leaning Rutgers law professor in the early 1970s, Ruth Bader Ginsburg thought that the Roe v. Wade abortion decision was the product of “concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations we don’t want too many of,” she recalled in a recent New York Times Magazine interview. Her expectation was that the purported right to abortion created in Roe “was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion.

The states hit hardest by the recession are getting the least amount of “stimulus.” Well, what else would you expect from Barack Hoover Obama?

This doesn’t mean anything about the actual election which is three and half years away, but it does go to show how quickly the Dalai Bama is falling from grace. If the 2012 election were held today Obama would be tied with Mitt Romney 45 to 45 and he would lead Sarah Palin by only six points.http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections2/election_2012/2012_match_ups_obama_romney_tied_at_45_obama_48_palin_42Maybe Mitt is going to be our guy after all.

by Stephen Lendman July 20, 2009 On February 24, Barack Obama told a joint session of Congress that “we must….address the crushing cost of health care….caus(ing) a bankruptcy in America every thirty seconds. By the end of the year, it could cause 1.5 million Americans to lose their homes. In (each of) the last eight years….one million….Americans have lost their health insurance….Given these facts, we can no longer afford to put health care reform on hold….health care reform cannot wait, it must not wait, and it will not wait another year.” Behind the facade of reform, Obama and leading Democrats ruled universal, single-payer coverage off the table before debate even began.
