You’ll remember I predicted that it wouldn’t be long until it became apparent that President Obama was in over his head, indeed inexperienced, and all talk and little action. It would seem that America is coming to believe that as well . “Barack Obama’s approval ratings have suffered major declines. The president’s overall job approval number fell from 61% in mid-June to 54% currently. His approval ratings for handling the economy and the federal budget deficit have also fallen sharply, tumbling to 38% and 32%, respectively.

Alex Puchner , head of brewing operations at the Huntington Beach-based BJ’s Restaurants, told the Register’s Jonathan Lansner that he was disappointed in the choice of beers at the White House “beer summit” today. President Barack Obama , as anticipated, had a Bud Light, and Sgt. James Crowley of the Cambridge, Mass., police had a Blue Moon . Henry Louis Gates Jr. mixed it up by having a Samuel Adams Light instead of the advertised Red Stripe, while Vice President Joe Biden sipped on a non-alcoholic Buckler.

James Crowley ) had a good time having beer at the White House Rose Garden. It was a great move for Pres. Barack Obama. CNN reports that both men (Gates and Crowley) brought their families along with them for a tour of the White House. The men met the President at the Oval Office before they headed down to the Rose Garden for what is now being dubbed as the “Beer Summit”.

President Barack Obama welcomed Harvard University scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. and police Sergeant James Crowley to the White House this evening for a private talk over beers at a table outside the Oval Office. The three, joined by Vice President Joe Biden, sat briefly for photographs and video and made no statements before diving into a private discussion intended to put behind them the national controversy that followed the July 16 arrest of Gates, who is black, by Crowley, who is white.
