Faced with a declining economy, the Swedes have decided to take a page out of Ronald Reagan’s playbook: Sweden’s centre-right government on Saturday announced income tax cuts of 10 billion kronor to stimulate the job market, its primary objective. Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and three other ministers in the four-party coalition said the reduction would mean most wage earners would have 200 to 250 kronor (20 to 25 euros, 29 to 36 dollars) more in take-home pay every month.

Vexing long-term health care absent from US debate MIAMI ? Even as the health care debate rages in Washington, scant attention has been given to providing long-term care for the elderly and disabled. Beyonce brilliance bamboozles Sydney. There’s something so mesmerizing about Beyonce Knowles performing live that means no matter what she’s singing, how saucy her dance moves or how good her vocal cords, you can’t keep your eyes off her. In fact, she’s so incredibly stunning I would have been happy if she had stood at the front of the stage with the wind machine blowing her hair back for the entirety of her 2  hour show. Everything else at her I Am … Acer Arena show on Friday night was a bonus and the 14,000 strong audience lapped it up.

I woke up this morning, turned on the coffee and went to the bathroom to do my morning thing. I looked into the mirror and I saw what you Liberal/Socialists in the halls of Congress, the drive-by media and even a former President call a ‘racist’. A white, gun-toting, God fearing man of morals and family values. Yup, I’m a racist!      You see, I disagree with the Liberal/Socialists and mainly Obama, on Healthcare, border security, Government bailouts of the banks and the auto industry and the downsizing of the war on terrorism.

WSJ: President Barack Obama, seeking to make a case for health-insurance regulation, told a poignant story to a joint session of Congress last week. An Illinois man getting chemotherapy was dropped from his insurance plan when his insurer discovered an unreported gallstone the patient hadn’t known about. “They delayed his treatment, and he died because of it,” the president said in the nationally televised address. In fact, the man, Otto S.

WSJ/Fred Barnes Virginia has been kind to Democrats as of late. Eight years ago, Democrat Mark Warner captured the governor’s mansion. Four years later, his lieutenant governor, Tim Kaine, succeeded him. In 2006, Jim Webb took one of the state’s U.S. Senate seats away from the GOP. Last year, Mr. Warner took the other as Barack Obama became the first presidential candidate of his party to carry the state in 44 years. But now the Democratic tide is ebbing in Virginia. In January Mr.
