Daily Kos: Anthony Weiner kills on Morning Joe!!!!  Medicare for all!!! I dont know how many people saw this, but Anthony weiner just made the best, most intelligent case for healthcare reform I have heard in years. He went on Morning Joe, and in a very clear, calm way, told Joe that he wanted to expand Medicare for all Americans. He asked the basic question that has failed to be asked by any other leading Democrat with the exception of Independent Bernie Sanders.

Looks like push may be coming to shove on the so-called “Public Option.” Progressive Democrats are saying, “No Public Option, No Bill!” “Americans deserve reform that is real – not smoke and mirrors. We cannot rely solely on the insurance companies’ good faith efforts to provide for our constituents,” wrote Democratic Representatives Raul Grijalva D-Arizona, Lynn Woolsey D-California and Barbara Lee D-California.

From the GREAT STATE OF MAINE I have nothing to say about Netroots Nation ‘09. Except… >> We humbly apologize, Pittsburgh, for using one of your most famous landmarks at 3am Friday night to create the world’s largest chocolate fountain. But we promise to give you co-credit when we submit our documentation to the Guinness Book. >> The first thing you notice when you meet Meteor Blades—who attended his first NN convention this year—is that he’s eleven feet, seven and a half inches tall (we measured).
