So you’ve just read a blog post and you think to yourself, wow that was interesting or maybe it was funny or you would just like to tell your friends what you have read. But do you take advantage of the buttons that the majority of blogs, including this one, have at the bottom of the blog posts? Most would probably say no, which is a real shame as clicking on these buttons or links helps a blogger get their post out to more people by you, the reader, simply ReTweeting, Digging or posting the information out on the many social networks that are out there!

RjDuino allows you to control an Arduino with your iPhone running RjDj. I definitely want to try out this project, especially the pitch controlled LEDs. Using a custom RjDj patch to control an Arduino. Made possible via the “netsend” and “netreceive” objects in PD, which are also usable in RjDj. The interface with the Arduino is made through the Firmata firmware in combination with the PDuino library.

Use Coggno’s Pay-Per-Use platform to create and distribute training. They host it, you control it, just your learners view it. The Coggno Interface is simple to use, anyone in your organization can create and distribute training in a few minutes. Best of all, you don’t pay until you are ready to start distributing.

This image was just  Dugg up over 2,500 times yesterday – it is a pretty funny cover of a “mook” (crossover between a magazine and a book) about police in the US: I did a bit of research on the ‘mook’ – the image was lifted from a Japanese  blog entry from August 2008 that did research on old Japanese books about police. Just like the commenters on Digg, the Japanese blogger had a lot of fun with the cover image.

by Mark Bradley It might have happened that you had e-mailed a friend, associate or a family member informing them about a particular website that you liked and thought it would interest them too. Well, this simple online process is called social bookmarking. This online activity of social bookmarking helps you to tag websites and save them directly to the web for future use. And since these bookmarks are found on the World Wide Web you can distribute them to your friends too.

by Mark Bradley If you have e-mailed any family member, friend or associate and sent them a particular link to some website which you might have felt would interest or impress them, then you have already participated in an online activity known as social bookmarking. Social bookmarking involves the tagging of some website and saving it for use later on. This saving is a little different in character since you are saving them directly to the web rather than to your own web browser.
