For the northern half of the world it’s almost ski season, and thus a curious time to debut a pair of devices that allow skiing in the summertime. Nevertheless Nissan and Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology are introducing this pair of two-wheeled, self-balancing devices. Lace up your fresh New Balance kicks, grab onto the handlebars, then hop on to go for a ride. Each one detects weight shifts and motors itself in the direction you want to go — or at least the direction you’re leaning.

We’ve already talked about SciPhone’s Android efforts . Now the company which seems to target the very low end of the smartphone market is out with two more devices, both “seemingly” resembling existing handsets. The first of the two is marked as N19 (pictured on the left), and as you can see for yourself, it looks too Storm-ish for my taste. On the other hand, the more expensive N21 model resembles the not-that-popular General Mobile DSTL1 . The good thing is the price – N19 could be yours for $150, whereas the N21 costs $235.

That black Nintendo Wii bundle Nintendo is gifting to Europe on November 6th has found itself home amongst the Amazon UK listings. Recommended price is £179.99 but the online retailer is knocking off eight percent to make it an event £164.99 — that’s about $269 to the US gamers who still don’t have a shot at getting this. What makes it interesting is that the identical bundle in white doesn’t have that £15 discount, but Amazon is sweetening the pot with the choice of two free titles, including FIFA10 .
