We’re not expecting the BlackBerry Onyx to hit before November , but at least a few units have hit the wild , and these are the first in-depth photos we’ve seen. These shots don’t reveal much about the new-look Bold with the optical trackball, but it sure is pretty, ain’t it? Now if it only had a useful browser and IMAP support, we’d actually care. Sunday, October 4th, 2009 by Steven 0 Add a CommentThe Motorola CLIQ hasn’t gone on sale yet, but that hasn’t stopped a few units from leaking out here and there — Eldar at mobile-review just posted up one of the most thorough photo previews of the chunky slider we’ve seen yet. Interestingly, the keyboard continues to draw mixed reviews — while we rather liked it when we tried it out, m-r says it’s just “okay” and that the five-way rocker “wasn’t very handy.” We’ll have to use this thing

October 4, 2009 With a newborn on the way in less than two months, a new job, and all the other unanticipated distraction that life brings, I haven’t had any time to blog lately. So I figured I’d put together a list of stuff you just need to know (either because it’s important industry news or just plain cool).

To further support speculation that a Macbooklet (aka new Macbook ) is indeed in the works, Google Adsense has started posting ads of new Mac systems in the Netherlands with a dead link to the Apple Store in the country. Translated with the help of Google Translate, the ads read as follows: “Apple’s Newest MacBook. Thinner, lighter and faster! Free delivery. Order today,” and “The Brand new iMac. Ultra Thin 20 & 24 inch models. From only €1099 (roughly $1,063).

Palm has issued a new update to its webOS platform that re-enables direct synchronisation to iTunes. Despite being blocked from doing so on numerous occasions by iTunes updates, Palm keeps fixing the problem and has done so again with the latest 1.2.1 update for webOS, just days after the last version of the platform . With the launch of the device imminent in the UK, Palm is doing a great job of keeping the Pre in the headlines, and this latest move is likely to incur Apple’s ire.

Having already searched through several Reviews of both the Kindle 2 and DX, from actual owners and websites such as engadget, cnet, wired, etc… I still can not decide which one to purchase. I want to purchase a kindle for casual reading, and possibly using it to have mobile school text books to help study. Having never seen a kindle upfront, I am basically judging it through its specs, pics and reviews. Now I need your opinions…
