Check the pics and videos (including looks at VIZIO’s smaller LED sets ready to hit shelves this fall) for a look at our walkthrough; in the demos at least, the VIZIO Internet Apps platform was speedy and easy to use, however our experience with widgets so far has given us more than enough reason to wait for a full retail rollout before making any final decisions.

The Sprint Samsung Instinct HD cell phone will has a 3.2-inch screen, , improved browsing and a 5-megapixel camera, enhanced visual voicemail, simpler texting. New Sprint Phones – Samsung Instinct HD has a built in mini HDMI port, from what I’ve heard at meetings about it. It’ll be out September 27th. Anyways, I believe Sprint/ Samsung is calling it the “Instinct HD” Because it records video in high definition, and can play back high definition content.

Microsoft ’s Zune HD is nearing its much anticipated release in the market, and so as to get you more excited about it, here’s a couple of marketing videos starring the ZuneHD to further whet your appetite. Take note of the video above as it nears the 0:33 mark as the Zune HD that’s lying on its side will briefly show off its gaming prowess Sure, we now some editing had to be done in order to pull off these well-crafted videos, but with an Nvidia Tegra chip on-board, we’re not doubting it capabilities in this department one bit.

Check them out right now in the following gallery, we got a good look at the future on the CEDIA show floor, though whether Sony delivering all new hardware or everyone else’s strategy of upgrading existing players for Netflix, Amazon and other forms of streaming is the path to follow remains to be seen. The BDP-N460 should hit for about $250 starting next month.

Hey, remember that ultra skinny, LED-backlit HDTV that JVC showed off at CEDIA UK earlier this year? The seven millimeter-thin LT-32WX50? Yeah, that very panel is making a second debut here in Atlanta, but it has somehow managed to slim down to 6.4 millimeters (at its thinnest point) and get a November ship date in the US. Weighing just 12.5 pounds, the 32-inch set packs a 4,000:1 contrast ratio, edged-light LED backlight system, a super wide color gamut (100 percent of sRGB and 90 percent of Adobe RGB), a 1080p native resolution, two HDMI sockets, VGA input and an RS-232c control port.

We have good and bad news after visiting the Dish Network booth first thing in the morning. We’re happy to state that Dish was proudly displaying a Dish Tuner for Media Center 7 at its booth. The bad news however is that it was just a “proof of concept.” Which means no matter how hard we tried, no one would tell us anything about price or availability. The other thing up in the air was if the actual implementation would be based on VIP211K HD STBs like the demo, or if instead there would be a dedicated tuner.
