Riding bicycles at one time meant all about being prepared to fix your bike chains because they have the property of always kicking out from place. Fixing them can also take some time and leaves you with grease on your hands (which is a decidedly unbecoming look for a date). Bike chains may soon become a thing of the past, what with belt drives trying hard to take their place. Although they’ve only been around for just a few years, belt drives have gained the respect and admiration of bikers since they are more durable and sustainable than bike chains over time.

Level Up a overseas website disassembled a PSP Go and published the results. Kind of cool if you want to see that the insides of a PSP Go look like and don’t want to disassemble one your self. The English language site Gizmodo has a nice gallery of pics. Check it out at the link bellow. http://gizmodo.com/5346229/psp-go-sliced-in-thin-waffles-of-crispy-silicon-scrumptiousness

Built by Tilted Twister, this creation is the world’s first sudoku puzzle-solving LEGO robot. Basically, “it scans the sudoku puzzle using a light sensor, calculates the solution to the puzzle and then writes the digits.” Video after the break.Swedish hacker Hans Andersson doesn’t need a robot to solve sudokus puzzles. That’s because he’s a genius capable of making a robot that can solve sudoku puzzles.[via Gizmodo - Tiltedtwister] Via Techeblog

The Sirius XM SkyDock is a standalone satellite radio receiver with an iPod connector that turns your iPhone into a satellite radio receiver, its not the best looking piece of equipment—but it’s the only way to listen to space radio on your iPhone or iPod Touch, for now. The bulky dock, which makes use of the iPhone OS 3.0’s new hardware support (remember that?), plugs into your car’s DC jack, which it depends on for power and support, and will run $120, not including the required subscription to Sirius XM radio.

After a whole bunch of hype, the first augmented reality app for the iPhone 3GS is now available (Alright!)…for Paris subway travelers (What the…?). The Metro Paris Subway 3.0 has been updated to help commuters find points of interest using a live video mode. Now that one of these apps have finally hit the iPhone even if it is in Paris and not here, how long do we have to hold out till we get a augmented reality app to the U.S.? -Steve [gizmodo] Related posts: No augmented reality until September While the new slew of augmented reality iPhone apps…

Apple’s OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard isn’t arriving until Friday , but a bunch of reviews hit today. More than with most evaluations of an operating system, they’re consistent–most critics say that it’s no earthshaker, but worth the $29 it’ll cost folks who already have Leopard. I haven’t tried Snow Leopard yet–I’ll pick it up on Friday–and while I’m looking forward to getting it and will tell you what I think, I believe that waiting a bit before you install a new OS is always a defensible move.
