For some inexplicable reason the Xbox 360 lacks integrated wifi, an oversight i can’t quite comprehend. I understand how the design team might have underestimated the importance of wifi for getting your console online back in 2005 when the Xbox 360 was originally released, but the fact that it hasn’t been added in one of the following revisions completely baffles me. The only plausible explanation would be that Microsoft’s wifi adapter sells like crazy, which is something i find hard to believe given its completely outrageous pricing – $100 for a glorified wifi usb dongle.

The appropriately named Fuji FinePix Real 3D is equipped with a pair of lenses and image sensors, as you can see in the picture provided, allowing you to shoot three-dimensional photos.

brylog : Bill Gates Patent Could Save Us From Another Hurricane Katrina (via Gizmodo) Along with ex-Microsoft CTO Nathan Myhrvold, Gates has applied for five patents that call for a fleet of specially equipped vessels to be deployed in a hurricane’s path—vessels that are capable of reducing the surface temperature of the ocean by mixing in colder water from greater depths. It’s back. The Quanta assembled Apple netbook rumor that kicked off in March with a Commercial Times report calling for a Wintek-supplied touchscreen has returned… with a fever. China Times has now stepped in with a claim of a 9.7-inch touchscreen netbook to debut in October. CT claims that Wintek, and Dynapack have all received orders direct from Apple while Foxconn (not Quanta) will be the main manufacturer.
