The homies over at Gizmodo recently did an interview with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and many things popped up in their conversation. The most interesting thing as you can tell from the headline, is that Blu-Ray is just about confirmed to be coming to 360. Checkout this quote here. “Well I don’t know if we need to put Blu-ray in there—you’ll be able to get Blu-ray drives as accessories.” If the CEO says its coming then it just might be coming. I personally think that it’s too late.

The e-reader battle is heating up. Two days ago, Barnes & Noble fired a shot across Amazon’s bow with their gorgeous new Nook e-reader. Today, Amazon announced free Kindle software (similar to their excellent iPhone app) for any PC with the new Windows 7. Better yet, as Gizmodo points out, if you have a multi-touch tablet laptop, you’ve suddenly got a full-color Kindle, too.

Not interested in buying a Kindle? Understandable. But that’s not going to stop Amazon from promoting its Kindle technology as far and wide as it possible can. Today Amazon has announced the availability of “Kindle for PC,” a free eReader application that allows PC users to “enjoy” Kindle books on their own terms. Kindle for PC is built with Amazon’s Whispersynch technology, which automatically saves and synchronizes bookmarks and last page read across devices.

When it comes to industrial robots, the challenge is making them fast and accurate.
