The third quarter launch date for Acer’s Aspire One Android netbook has come and gone. The next launch date is rumored to be set for sometime this November, just in time for the holiday season. The Android netbook probably won’t be that much cheaper than the current 10″ Acer Aspire One netbook (~$350) though, since it has similar specs (including the Windows OS ). We’ll keep you posted on any developments. Via Gizmodo .

Do you have to carry so many gadgets around you use a backpack to carry them all, and the batteries? That plus you need this huge backpack to carry all your stuff? Clique aqui para assistir o vídeo inserido. The power generating backpack might be useful for you then… but I guess it was mainly designed for soldiers. It’s a backpack that has a fixed part for your back, and a secondary part (which is the bag).

In August we covered a wireless electricity presentation from the TED conference. Now Sony has put out a press release on their wireless flat panel television prototype. The device is capable of operating without audio, video, or power cables connected to it. I found this video about a (hopefully) soon-to-be-real gadget over at Apartment Therapy… Please, please, please let this be real… I NEED IT! : ) It’s perfect for nerdy, bookish, fun people like me…techie gadget meets journal-er, artist, writer. This post was just waiting happen really. With so many rumors hitting us one after another, the tablet just seems more and more real. And it’s not like the rumors are coming from one place only. They are coming from multiple different blogs, sources and from various different angles that all point towards the existence of a mysterious device. So let’s look at all the latest rumors, speculations and musings on the tablet. Is it going to be great? Is it going to take the industry by a storm like the iPhone did? People stop asking me when Verizon’s getting an Iphone, be happy with a Android phone instead.This bad boy should be out by the new year and its pretty much kick ass I might even switch out of  my AT&T contract once it ends and get one of these.There most likely going to be called Droid but dont quote me on that check out Gizmodo’s review for more info via: Gizmodo
