New colors, video camera, price cuts. Whatever. The Apple show belonged to Steve Jobs. So how did he look? Rail thin, as you can see from this picture (see below or click here for a bunch more shots of t he 54-year old chief executive). That shouldn’t come as a surprise, given he’s recovering from a liver transplant. Even looking frail, however, his presence pumped up the crowd. “Steve Jobs making an appearance was definitely a pleasant surprise,” said Shaw Wu, an analyst with Kaufman Brothers.

Computer Renaissance just found out that a new version of popular media player iTunes has been released, and it comes with a slew of new features including media sharing, ringtones, and more. Read more below… Windows/Mac OS X: The biggest software announcement at today’s Apple event comes in the form of iTunes 9, the newest release of the popular desktop media player. It’s a solid update containing a few features that we’d be really excited about if only they were just a little bit better (see Home Sharing, for example).

Gizmodo this time. They have a hands-on video of the 5G iPod Nano for us. The camera user interface looks very usable. I see the Nano as becoming very popular in developing countries as well as with people with a developing taste in tech (read: very young people). new ipod nano video camera from Gizmodo on Vimeo .
