Banned Books Week started on Saturday, and this year I’m celebrating it properly!  Every day this week I’m going to post something supporting the theme as it relates to books for and about our kids. “Our” here meaning LGBT families, immediate and extended, as well as our allies. Today I’m reposting a list of LGBT-themed books that have been challenged or banned recently, compiled by the National Coalition Against Censorship’s Kids’ Right to Read Project .

No Compromise Media Contributor The following is a book written by my friend, Mary.  You can read her previous chapters here. She is the ex-wife of a muslim,  and understands what it means to live under that lifestyle.  Notice I said “under” rather than live within that life style.  Living as a Muslim, when you grow up as an American and a Christian,  was not an easy walk for Mary.  Her experience is to our benefit as she educates us on the true nature of the imperialistic political system known as Islam.

Khloe Kardashian got hitched to L.A. Lakers star Lamar Odom on Sunday at the Beverly Hills mansion of Irving Azoff. The couple had been dating for just one month! The wedding was a hastily-put-together event, but clearly spared no expense. The couple even exchanged wedding vows in front of a camera crew that was capturing footage for reality TV. Two hundred guests attended the lavish ceremony, including Khloe Kardashain’s mother Kris Jenner, step-father Bruce Jenner, and siblings Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Robert Kardashian.

3 Islam in American Classrooms   American children are being indoctrinated with anti-Democratic ideologies in American colleges, universities, and K-12 public schools with socialism, communism, and Islam. While parents believe traditional societal values are upheld, some schools are intentionally breaching customary positions of trust by providing a failing quality of education as compared to generations past. The widespread violation of standards infringe on family orientation, political and social identity, and religious persuasion.
