It’s still pretty amazing that she has made it to the Supreme Court… The trial of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is over, the judge gave her a three year sentence in prison, then paused dramatically before commuting it to 18 months of house arrest, pretty much the way she has lived for the past 20 years.

These social gadgets turn iGoogle into a far more interactive and social experience, as users can now play casual games with other iGoogle users and share videos and to-do lists right from the iGoogle homepage.

Here’s another great example of how leftist fascists want to stifle everyone else’s free speech: CNN host Lou Dobbs is expressing some regret for referring to former Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean as a “bloodsucking leftist” who could only be stopped if one “put a stake through his heart.” In a statement to the Huffington Post on Tuesday, Dobbs made a quasi-apology, wrapped in a dig at his critics.

Tameka make some good points in this recent interview: Often dark skinned women are considered mean, domineering and standoffish and it was these very labels that followed Michelle Obama during the campaign for her husband’s presidency and which she has had to work tirelessly to combat. I was appalled when I heard a Black woman refer to Michelle Obama as unattractive. The conversation turned into why President Obama picked her as his mate.

iGoogle , a personalized homepage that competes with My Yahoo, My MSN, My AOL, Netvibes and others, will release 19 new in-house and third party iGoogle widgets today that add new social and sharing features to users of the service. An overview of the service is in the video below, and a tour of some of the features and gadgets is here . In an interview yesterday, Google VP Marissa Mayer and iGoogle Product Manager Rose Yao said they hope to engage users with social games and sharing with friends.

As if you really needed another reason (or five). Chocolate. It’s everywhere. It taunts us at the end of grocery aisles, it coats and covers some of our favorite snacks, it functions as the go-to gift for nearly every holiday and celebration, and it somehow finds its way into our mouths to comfort us when we’re down. But chocolate has a bad reputation. It is associated with sugar and fat and poor health. Besides the antioxidant effects in dark chocolate and the great taste, it doesn’t seem like there is any other redeeming quality.
