After reading articles on Lifehacker and HackCollege , I decided to roll my own Miro DVR setup on my computer in preparation for the fall. Miro will be downloading new episodes of my favourite television series for me to watch, then deleting them when I’m done. Think of it as video-podcasting for your shows! Supercharge Google Reader with Send To Links [Feeds] : ” Google Reader recently added custom ‘Send To’ controls to its feature list, and we’ve been looking for the most useful links to feed it. iPhone/iPod touch only: We’ve already seen plenty of apps that bring Wikipedia to your iPhone , but today Wikipedia launches their own official iPhone app called Wikipedia Mobile. The application is both free and open source, and while it’s currently pretty light on features (it could really, really use an autocomplete feature), the folks at Wikipedia say that they’re currently focusing on simplicity and speed, but will add features based on requests over time.
