If you live in an area that has high summer temperatures but generally low levels of humidity, a misting system is a great addition to your outdoor spaces. Misting systems are used everywhere from rabbit farms to theme parks and require very little materials and a very small amount of water to work effectively.

Life gave you an abundance of lemons (and other fruit). What do you do? You could make berry lemonade , or you could make some carbonated fruit that’ll literally make your taste buds tingle. Instructables user noahw has a guide to turning regular fruit into a refreshing, carbonated treat. You’ll need to track down some dry ice, a soda or Nalgene bottle, and, of course, some fruit. Note that firm fruits such as “oranges, apples and pears” work better than softer ones.

Yesterday Google Reader updated with more social features , including a “like” feature—but didn’t give you a way to view all the items that you “liked”. Reader Michel writes in with the solution. To view a list of all the items that you liked, simply navigate to this URL in your browser to see the list of your liked items—no doubt the link will eventually be added somewhere in Reader, but for now you can see the list this way.
