Today, Microsoft’s fledgling search tool is doing a bit more with Twitter, launching BingTweets, a separate site that combines Bing search with Twitter search and trending topics. For example, search BingTweets for “All Star Game” and on one part of the page, the Bing search results will load, and next to them, recent tweets containing the same term.

While it stops short of the Facebook Connect or Twitter integration we’re used to seeing (eg. during the Obama Inauguration), C-Span’s integration of the live blogging tool CoverItLive allows them to post minute-by-minute updates on developments, in addition to providing links to further coverage on blogs and news sites.

It’s making its way around the web and your television and it’s certainly a head-scratcher. The ad appears to be a follow-up to this one , essentially trying to convey the message that the Palm Pre makes life “flow in harmony.” The really odd part, however, is that the female presenter of this wisdom decrees, “Bing, Bing, Bing” in the process.

Diddy has been alerting his Twitter followers to downloading a free song made available as a tribute to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson . The song features The Game , Chris Brown , Diddy , Usher , Mario Winans , Boys II Men , and other leading artists. The tribute song is already expected to eclipsed over 100,000 plays today and expects to continue to climb. What a fitting tribute! Great job, guys. Michael would indeed be pleased.

I read a great blog post last week at the Wassup blog about word of mouth marketing that got me thinking a lot about the subject.  I sure you have wondered how some blogs get tons of traffic without much promoting.  It seems like their readers just grow and grow.  I am putting Mashable in this category, he has unbelievable traffic, loyalty and brand name awareness.

If you check the ad out for yourself, you’ll also notice that Palm has taken a distinct departure from their launch ad , where Facebook played a starring role .
