Tonight’s big Naked Truth event at the Olympic Sculpture Park — where enterpreneurs, investors and journalists will discuss how different Internet consumer models work — has all the makings of a blow-out. Even before Fred Wilson or John Cook blogged about it, we’d had 400 people register, then 500 when we raised the limit by 100. Since Monday, people have been asking to get added to the list, and one CEO even offered buy someone’s registration .

This Friday, technology blog TechCrunch , brings to the San Francisco Bay Area a special event called CrunchUp – a conference mashup designed to bring brilliant minds together to explore and map out different paths that the technology stream can take. Hosted by TechCrunch’s IT editor Steve Gillmore and the creator of blog, Michael Arrington, this event has an exciting lineup of companies ready to not only demo their wares but also present their ideas to the crowd and hopefully engage in some thought-provoking, yet inspiring conversation.

I remember as if it was yesterday, when me, Danielle Morrill and Brian M. Westbrook were sitting at Top Pot in Belltown about 3 months ago discussing a new “channel” to cover topics about tech startups, entrepreneurship, local events and more. One of us suggested “Seattle 2.0 TV”. Today, we are happy to announce that idea is becoming a reality with our new Channel: Seattle 2.0 TV .
