Pet giraffes of late singer Michael Jackson are reportedly facing eviction from their Arizona home unless their new owner can raise 100,000 dollars in funds. The four animals previously lived in an enclosure on the King of Pop’s Neverland estate. Since 2006, they have been housed in the Banjoko Wildlife Preserve in Page. They are cared by Freddie Hancock, reports Contactmusic. But now the tall animals may have to find a new home because local council officials are refusing to provide emergency cover for the animals unless Hancock hands over the huge sum to pay for insurance.

Director/choreographer Kenny Ortega might be the man behind Michael Jackson’s This Is It , but he is no longer directing the remake of Footloose . After serving as a guest judge on the finale of So You Think You Can Dance Canada , Ortega told MuchNews that he decided not to direct the remake because he needed a break. Tim Deegan asked him if the rumours were true. “You’re the first person to actually ask me the question,” Kenny says.

There is some controversy surrounding the relaese of This Is It. Some family members such as Catherine Jackson are not ready to see the film while others such as Latoya and Joe Jackson are accusing the fims producers of using body doubles and audio dubbing to make Michael come off looking better than he actually felt.  Fans opposed to the movie have started a web site called This Is NOT It.
