The controversial core of ObamaCare is a so-called “public option” Under “ObamaCare,” Republican-turned-Democrat Arlen Spector, a cancer survivor, and former PA Democrat Gov. Bob Casey (PA Sen. Bob Casey, Jr.’s father) would both have been goners long ago, according to the New York Post :that critics insist would eventually wipe out the ability of average Americans to get the kind of care Specter and the senior Casey received. This already is being set up, with the establishment in the Obama stimulus bill (passed with votes from both Sens.

As Michelle Malkin reports, journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee have arrived back in the US after spending six months in a North Korean jail. First, we must offer our congratulations to former POTUS Bill “Git ‘er done” Clinton for doing what Hillary should have been able to do, but couldn’t: he negotiated with N. Korea’s Kim Jong Il for the release of journalists Ling and Lee, who had been jailed in that country since March.

New Quinnipiac University national poll released today shows 57 – 37 percent of voters say health care reform should be dropped if it adds “significantly” to the deficit. By a 72 – 21 percent margin, voters do not believe that President Barack Obama will keep his promise to overhaul the health care system without adding to the deficit. See poll Here .

The Patriot Post - Wed Chronicle – Vol. 09 No. 31 This guy wouldn’t lie about taxes, would he? “An unlimited power to tax involves, necessarily, a power to destroy; because there is a limit beyond which no institution and no property can bear taxation.” –John Marshall EDITORIAL EXEGESIS “Few of President Obama’s 2008 campaign pledges were more definitive than his vow that anyone making less than $250,000 a year ‘will not see their taxes increase by a single dime’ if he was ele Read more here: Obama’s 2008 Hollow Campaign Promises Vs.

No wonder even Ann Coulter — Ann Coulter! — has distanced herself from Taitz saying, in effect: “I don’t want to encourage that woman, she’s a nutjob!”

Yesterday conservatives publicized that the White House was recruiting informants on its blog to turn in emails and web addresses of those spreading “disinformation” on Obamacare, i.e., anything in opposition. Today Big Brother’s request remains up (click to enlarge)… … prompting Sen. John Cornyn ( R – TX ) to write a great letter to the WH reminding Obama of the First Amendment , requesting him to remove the request, and asking exactly what Obama plans to do with names, email addresses, IP addresses, and web addresses of people countering his healthcare disinformation.

A week and half ago, we reported that ” the current Party in Power© doesn’t much like the light of day shining on their misguided attempt to “transform” American health care. A group of Republican lawmakers ” were prevented from mailing a chart of the current health care proposal to their constituents. We’re happy to report that ” House Democrats agreed late last week to allow Republicans to send their constituents a mailing critical of the majority’s health care bills, after a two-week delay caused by Democratic allegations that the mailing was inaccurate .” Good news all around.

In an unprecedented move of pure arrogance, the California Republican Party (CRP) crapped on every other Republican candidate running for CD-10. In a kangaroo court conference call Tuesday, the Olympian GOP leadership swept its own rules aside and endorsed the candidacy of David Harmer for the Congressional District 10 (CD10) special election. I guess the candidacy of the other Republicans matters not to the CRP when Harmer, who has fallen under the spell of the CRP Vice Chair, can pay for his political fame with his own cash for voter registration.

Michelle Malkin has a great post today about the left’s attempted smear-job of the town hall protestors, and why they’re spreading so many desperate lies. Unaccustomed to pushback, the wealthy, astro-turfed ground troops for Obamacare – underwritten by unions, liberal philanthropists, the AARP, ACORN, and your tax dollars — have resorted to projection. As I’ve reported previously, the single-payer lobby boasts a $40 million budget and a stable of seasoned political operatives based at 1825 K Street in Washington, D.C.
