by Cynthia Yockey on July 10, 2009in Sarah Palin I posted my most recent “Fire David Letterman” kit on Friday, July 3, around 3 pm, and then saw something in my newsfeed (look to your right on this page) at Michelle Malkin’s site about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin having a news conference at that moment, possibly to announce her resignation. Gah!I immediately wrote a post, “Palin for President in 2012,” which I believe was the first on the Web taking that position.

Now this is my kind of writing . Michelle Malkin says how it is (in a way much like I would) with the spending frenzy of the Obama stimulus . They keep trying to call it by other names and make fuzzy claims that it is not a waste and that it is creating jobs. Give us a break! We are not stupid, weak-minded, numb zombies who will follow where ever the liberals lead or believe the BS they keep feeding us. We are Americans! There is a reason they call her the Land of the free and the brave; we fought for it.

Sarah Palin’s announcement that she would resign from her position as Alaska’s governor took the political world by surprise and fueled intense speculation about her motives. Why did she announce this right before the Independence Day holiday weekend? Why did she not take any questions at her press conference? Why did she not want to serve out her complete term? Would she be viable as a future presidential candidate? Is there impending legal trouble that would embarrass her? Is she burned out? Regardless of her true intentions, several Republicans are not happy with her and what she represents.
