A U.S. Border Patrol agent, Robert Rosas, has been killed in Southern California while responding to a potential incursion into the United States, according to authorities. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department says he was shot in the head. The 30-year-old agent, who joined the Border Patrol in 2006, leaves behind a wife, Rosie; a 2-year-old son, Junior; and an 11-month-old daughter, Allysa.
