If he isn’t already attending anger management classes, Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) should really consider it. What a nut case . At a town hall meeting over the weekend a constituent raised some legitimate points about Obama’s health care claims and ended with the line “Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.” To which the ever classy Stark replied “I wouldn’t dignify you by peeing on your leg. It wouldn’t be worth wasting the urine.” He also wouldn’t dignify him or any of the other attendees with answers to the man’s concerns.

Two regular American citizens have accomplished what Attorney Generals across the country were unable to do.  James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles from BigGovernment.com  have been visiting ACORN offices in  various cities along the east coast.  They have been pretending to be a prostitute and a pimp looking to get a housing loan so they will have a place to run their illegal business and house the underage illegal alien prostitutes they are planning on importing.

I’m in shock — but in a good way. Maybe the message that ACORN is a corrupt criminal organization is finally getting through to lawmakers on Capitol Hill. I write that because Michelle Malkin is reporting that on a vote of 83 to 7 the U.S. Senate passed an amendment banning federal housing funds in the pending transportation and housing appropriations legislation from going to ACORN. The amendment was offered by Sen. Mike Johanns (R-Nebraska).

Wow, just wow. The U.S. Senate has voted 83-7 to strip corrupt, lefty organization ACORN of all federal funding. Several Democratic senators actually changed their votes from “no” to “yes” when it became clear that the amendment would pass. Interesting votes in favor of cutting funding to ACORN: Franken, Reid, Feinstein, Schumer, and Specter. The seven votes against: Durbin (D-IL), Burris (D-IL), Casey (D-PA), Gillibrand (D-NY), Leahy (D-VT), Sanders (D-VT), and Whitehouse (D-RI).

The prolonged fantasizing over the breadth and impact of the weekend tea-bag fest on the D.C. mall continues unabated. A  self-desrcibed “near-successful” screenwriter at Pajamas Media has now “scientifically” proven that at leas t 850,000 people showed up (not the 70,000 or so that credible news sources report). That would mean more people showed up to impersonate G.I. Joe or Yankee Doodle than did those who came from across the country to watch the inauguration of America’s first black (and apparently socialist) president.

UPDATE:   Scroll down for the latest news This time from the ACORN office in Brooklyn: This is the group that was designated to receive $8 Billion of the stimulus dollars we borrowed from China.  Yes, billions, unbelievable.   Megan McArdle thinks ACORN is not long for this world, we can only hope. Pat at And So it Goes in Shreveport has the latest ACORN statement from Bertha Lewis claiming tapes are doctored and poor ACORN is a victim of the relentless attacks of the evil FOX News, awwww.  Michelle Malkin has more on the history of the corruption surrounding ACORN.
