After Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) rejected Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s ultimatum to offer a mea culpa on the floor of the House for his outburst during President Barack Obama’s address on Wednesday evening or face a formal admonishment, Democratic leaders are now moving to introduce a resolution to censure Wilson. Obama apparently called Kanye West a jackass for his VMA Award show behavior where he grandstanded during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for best video. Supposedly, it was an off the record remark and apologies are flying all over the place now. Here is more from Politico. Although it wasn’t long before Moran removed it, with over a million followers, the tweet quickly bounced around Twitter through various users.
