Yes, yes, I have been sporadic and/or just plain absent of late.  I have no excuse.  (I hate excuses.) Please enjoy the following bit, a favorite of mine.  If you are any kind of political junkie – Left, Middle, or Right – I dare you not to laugh. Feudalism : You have two cows. Your lord takes some of the milk. Pure Socialism : You have two cows. The government takes them and puts them in a barn with everyone else’s cows. You have to take care of all the cows. Yes folks, Van Jones is Van Gone! There are still 30+ communist czars in this administration… Here is what Howard Dean, former head of DNC, former democratic presidential hopeful said about Van Jones resignation: Former Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean defended Van Jones Sunday, saying the White House green jobs czar had been “brought down” by opponents. “This guy is a Yale-educated lawyer, he is a best-selling authority about his specialty,” said Dean, who added on “Fox News Sunday” that he knows Jones and had just spoken with him.

Van Jones – the guy that’s been stirring up extreme controversy among Democrats and Republicans alike – finally resigned last night. The media is spinning it to look like Jones resigned because of ‘inflammatory’ statements he made towards Republicans (which he oh so graciously apologized for), truther alerts , and because of a ‘vicious smear campaign’ that opponents of reform laid against him. Let’s not forget that this guy was a self a-vowed communist radical.

From the Politico : Axelrod: Firm on public option By: Mike Allen September 6, 2009 White House senior adviser David Axelrod tells POLITICO that the administration is not dialing back its support for a public health-insurance option as part of a reform bill, and that a comment he made on NBC’s “Meet the Press” was misinterpreted.
