The odd thing about the news coverage of the future closing of General Electric’s South Valley jet engine plant is that it didn’t mention the ground water Superfund site that GE has been cleaning up for more than a decade there. Nor did the coverage mention that the contamination closed down two city wells in East San Jose, and was the object of the largest environmental law suit in the history of New Mexico. The state filed suit against GE and other corporate polluters for some $6 billion in damages, claiming that the contaminated groundwater would never be drinkable again.

Town Hall meetings all across the country are exploding with anti-ObamaCare protesters wherever Senators and Members of Congress meet with their constituents this summer. In reporting on the Town Hall opposition ABC’s Charlie Charles Gibson covered for the Prez by insisting that “some of that criticism appears to be orchestrated, causing the White House to push back.” The MSM doesn’t even try to interview the protesters like they would a similar liberal group but merely begins immediately to attack, characterize, and down play the thousands of opponents of OmamaCare as folks that were bought and paid for by the Republican party and the ‘evil’ insurance companies.

Americans are already paying for health care.  We pay more than anyone else in the world for health care.  Problem is, even though we’ve scrimped and saved to keep paying the insurance premiums, too often the profit-obsessed insurance industry denies our claim.  Or drops us altogether when we get sick.  And if they decide whatever we have isn’t covered by that “comprehensive health care policy” we’ve paid premiums on for half a lifetime, do they kindly refund our (obviously wasted) money?  No,

The liberals are so upset about the Obama/Joker poster. Any sort of mockery was okay as long as it was about George Bush but they freak out when someone makes fun of their supreme leader. So Rush suggested someone write a book entitled “Barack Obama Is A Big-Eared Idiot.” This, of course, is in reference to Al Franken’s book “Rush Limbaugh Is A Big Fat Liar.” No liberals had a problem with that. And they don’t mind when an art exhibit has a stamp of Bush with a gun to his head.
