There is currently a bill to Audit the Federal Reserve before the House and Senate that has bipartisan support and makes sense for all the People of this country yet Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity (among others) never promote it on their shows.  Why is that? The bill I’m speaking of is HR 1207 (House version) the “Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009,” aka “Audit the Fed.” and S 604 (Senate version), “Federal Reserve Sunshine Act of 2009.” For those not familiar with it, watch this

What is the number one watched program on cable news? If you guessed The O’Reily Factor, as I’m sure most of you did, you’d be correct . Bill is averaging these days close to three million viewers on any given weekday. In case you were curious, that’s about twice as many people as The Daily Show, while the major networks evening news shows can expect somewhere between 4.5 million and 8 million. OK, so here’s a tougher one: Who is #2? I’ll give you a hint: he’s also on Fox News.

According to this Washington Post article , Obama is returning to bashing Bush and Cheney in the effort to stop his plummeting poll numbers. Facing the first real rough patch of his presidency, President Obama and his supporters are once again resorting to a tried-and-true tactic: attacking George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. In his White House press conference last week, Mr. Obama referred to the Bush era at least nine times, three times lamenting that he “inherited” a $1.3 trillion debt that has set back his administration’s efforts to fix the economy.

I and many others have said Obama’s “public option” government run health care plan is nothing but a Trojan horse for Canadian style single payer health care. I’ve been called a conspiracy theorist, a nut, a fascist, a liar, and many other things even though I’ve provided stone cold proof . There’s a lot of chatter, locally and nationally, over Sen. Orrin Hatch’s vote against confirming Justice Sotomayor for the Supreme Court, and deservedly so. The woman is qualified. There’s nothing against her except that “wise latina” remark. Senators who protest she’s not going to be “objective” are playing games, forgetting their own past histories of using “Roe v. Wade” as a litmus test because, obviously, if you won’t overturn Roe V. Wade you aren’t being objective.
