Video: Woz talks Apple, dancing and Steve’s health – fairerplatform.com 08/09/2009 Leave it to Woz to add just a hint of spice on an otherwise dull weekend. Who else with serious Apple cred would be caught dead mingling with cross-dressing dancers? Bloomberg caught other Steve at Dancing with the Drag Stars, no I didn’t look it up and I feel better for it, where he riffed on his non-role at Apple, some of the more interesting highlights of his life and, here comes the punchline, Apple CEO Steve Jobs health.

Leave it to Woz to add just a hint of spice on an otherwise dull weekend. Who else with serious Apple cred would be caught on camera at what might generously be called at alternative dance event? Bloomberg caught other Steve at Dancing with the Drag Stars, no I didn’t look it up and I feel better for it, where he riffed on his non-role at Apple, some of the more interesting highlights of his life and Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Yup, that’s it. Other Steve knows about as much as we do and, no, he hasn’t seen him since the transplant either.

The Boy Genius Report is claiming to have received a tip that Blu-ray support will be coming to iTunes 9, which may be arriving as soon as next month. Also reportedly in iTunes 9 is the long sought after ability to arrange iPhone/iPod touch icon positions from within iTunes, instead of having to do it on the device itself. In addition there will be some kind of integration with Twitter/Facebook and Last.FM — presumably this would allow sending the currently playing song to the social networking sites, removing the need to run a separate application to do this.

Risky assets last week again marched higher to the tune of economic data supporting the argument of a global economic recovery. A realization among investors that the economic transition from recession to recovery was gaining momentum resulted in many global stock markets and commodities scaling fresh peaks for the year.
