My son was chosen to participate in a camp at a local university this week. The camp was for kids who might possibly be interested in a career in Materials Engineering. He had a great week and learned a lot. It was a camp intended to influence kids into choosing engineering in general, and Materials Engineering (ME) specifically, as a career. Today, the parents were invited. It was a nice presentation that was clearly primarily a recruiting event.
